Turn & Burn: Rotational Strength and Mobility

A 50-minute circuit class for the rotational athlete, recreational through competitive. Built for golfers, tennis players and pickleball players who want their power back.

Your power comes from how well you turn.

Turn & Burn is strength and mobility training for the rotational athlete, from recreational to competitive. It is a 50-minute circuit training class with the focus on rotational mobility and stability, which is the pairing most gym programs skip entirely.

The goal is to maximize power in the lower body, core and upper body for golf, tennis and pickleball players. Not power in the abstract: power in the sequence your sport actually uses, from the ground up through the hips and thorax and out through the arm.

The result the class is built for is improved sport performance by boosting movement efficiency. If you want that work one-on-one instead of in a group, our personal training is the same thinking applied to one person.

If your sport turns, this class is aimed at you.

The class is written for rotational athletes at every level, recreational through competitive.

Golfers

You want clubhead speed that comes from sequencing, not from swinging harder.

Tennis players

You need the hips and thorax to rotate so the shoulder stops absorbing the whole serve.

Pickleball players

Fast direction changes on a short court, week after week, ask a lot of a torso.

Any rotational athlete

Recreational through competitive. The work scales to what you can currently control.

What 50 minutes looks like.

A circuit, not a queue. You keep moving and the class keeps its intensity.

Fifty minutes, circuit format

The class runs as a circuit for 50 minutes, so you move through stations rather than waiting on one piece of equipment. Come dressed to train.

Rotational mobility and stability

The focus is the ability to turn and then control the turn: mobility through the hips, thorax and shoulders, with the stability to own the end range. This is the part most players are missing.

Power, then efficiency

From there the work builds power in the lower body, core and upper body, and ties it back to moving efficiently in your sport. Efficiency is what shows up in your swing.

Why players keep coming back to this one.

Mobility and strength together

Rotational range is trained and loaded in the same session, which is how it holds.

Power where the sport uses it

Lower body, core and upper body, trained in the sequence a rotational athlete needs.

Efficiency you can feel

Better movement efficiency means more output for the same effort, which is the whole point.
