Care Built Around What You Want Back

Every service below is delivered by a licensed physical therapist who stays in the room with you, start to finish, at our Speonk and Quogue clinics.

Expert physical therapists, one patient at a time.

Most clinics hand you a diagnosis and then hand you to whoever is free. That is the model Seth Greiner walked away from in 2015, and it is why this practice was built the way it was: no assistants, no aides, just you and a licensed physical therapist for the whole session.

The services on this page are the tools used inside that session. Some are hands-on. Some are loaded and hard. Some happen in your living room or over a screen. What they have in common is that a licensed physical therapist chose them for you after an evaluation, instead of pulling a protocol sheet for your diagnosis.

No two people are the same, so no two plans are either. Even when two patients arrive with the same injury, what their recovery needs can be completely different.

A private treatment room at Greiner Physical Therapy in Speonk, NY

Four things never change, whichever service you book.

These are the practice’s own commitments, not marketing language bolted on afterwards.

No aides, no assistants

You work with a licensed physical therapist for the entire session. Nobody counts your reps from across the room.

Individualized, not protocol

Two patients with the same imaging get two different plans, because their jobs, sports and histories are not the same.

No referral needed

New York gives you direct access to a licensed physical therapist for up to 30 days or 10 visits, whichever comes first.

Judged by the people who did it

5.0 on Google across 300+ reviews, and a 2025 Best of the Best award.

Every plan runs through four phases.

The practice’s own recovery program, in its own order.

Pain

First we settle the tissue that is driving your symptoms, so you can move enough to be treated. This is where the hands-on work earns its place.

Prime

Then we give back the motion the joint lost while it hurt. Range first, then the strength to hold that range under load.

Prevent

Next we go after the reason it happened: the stiff hip, the weak calf, the way you load the bar. This is the part most plans skip.

Perform

Last we load you back into the thing you actually want to do, whether that is 18 holes, a pickleball league or the stairs at home.

Why patients name the model, not the machines.

"If you're looking for physical therapy this is the place to be! One on one training, practitioners who listen and invite feedback, and an app to help with at home exercises."

Losing yards is a movement problem before it is a swing problem.

You cannot rotate what will not rotate. When the hips and the mid-back stop turning, the swing borrows that motion from the low back, and the low back eventually sends the bill.

Seth Greiner is TPI certified, so golf work here starts with a 16-movement screen of how your body actually moves, in and out of the swing. Where it goes next depends on whether you are hurt or simply slower than you used to be.

Rest is not a rehab plan for a lifter.

Take three months off and the pain usually comes back with the first heavy set, because nothing about how you load the bar has changed.

The lifting work here starts with video of your actual lifts, then rebuilds the pattern under a load you can tolerate today. Squat, bench and deadlift are the tools, not the enemy.

Discharge should not mean back to square one.

The most common way a recovery unravels is quietly, in the weeks after the last visit, when the program stops and nothing takes its place.

These are the services people move into once the rehab is finished: coached training, posture work, and a plan that protects the gains you already paid for.
